Bird t. is the little sister of the pigeon from the Pigeon Service project. After producing Pigeon Service, Acoustic Poster, and Saddle Blanket—all made from leftover upholstery fabrics from the Gelderland Design factory—smaller fabric scraps remain, just large enough to create this little sparrow.
The name of the sparrow, bird t., refers to Thomas Eyck and his beloved t.e. collection. The passing of Thomas in 2023 inspired Christien to design this small bird.
